ELF Gives Back

What else makes this event so unique? The Enjoy Light Festival has a huge focus on giving back to our community and supporting local companies. Each vendor that will be involved in the Enjoy Light Festival will be from the Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove and surrounding area. There is a diverse selection of local charities involved, such as Santa’s Anonymous, STARS Ambulance, Little Cats Lost, Second Chance Animal Rescue and the St. Albert Food Bank.

In Santa’s Workshop, all net proceeds from photos with Santa will be donated to STARS Air Ambulance!

The Thursday Initiative

The Thursday Initiative was created to include different groups that may be left out of Alberta’s holiday festivals. Every Thursday, between November 28, 2019 to January 2, 2020 from 2PM to 4PM, the Enjoy Light Festival will open 2 hours earlier for a specific group, and allow the families to come for FREE!

We are partnering with the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Cross-Cancer Institute, to allow those that are immune compromised, have sensory differences, or who may just see the world a little differently, to be able to come into a controlled setting and experience a holiday festival without the fear of getting sick or overwhelmed by the various sounds, lights and crowds.

The Enjoy Light Festival is committed to creating a bespoke experience for EVERY guest, and to remove as many barriers as possible, so that anyone can make the Enjoy Light Festival part of their winter festivities.
